Yacht Inspection.
Making sure everything on your new yacht works correctly in a systematic and efficient way.
There are few feelings which match the delivery and fruition of a long awaited project. Receiving your yacht is a time for celebration and anticipation of a future afloat. We all realize the complexity of modern yachts and with this in mind we offer a full shakedown of its systems and abilities.
The builders will themselves have done their own quality control, ticking off a list of items to agree they have all worked. However no amount of shore based testing will show if the yacht is performing independently and safely in its intended environment.
We will move onto the yacht for at least a period of two days and put all the plant, systems and rigging through a thorough test. This will need to be carried out in the whole range of situations th yacht will experience, including dockside, under motor, at sail and at night. We will sail the yacht, run the batteries down and recharge them, run the all the engines for a extended test, and check all the yachts systems. This is done in a considerate, constructive and systematic order, as dictated by our rigorous testing procedures.
Upon the testing being completed a report of all testing done, with notes of loads achieved and problems identified will be written and presented.
In order to achieve this we do require that two persons are allowed on board for at least a period of three days. If this does not fit in with your schedule then we can customize the inspection around you. If you chose to move the boat to another location during this time there is no extra charge for this. Any extra days will be charged at the normal delivery rate, subject to crewing requirements.
We expect to carry out the inspection independently however if you wish to be present we are happy to share our knowledge during this time.
