Catamarans
Synergy works for owners
Synergy Yachting holds a unique place in the Catamaran industry. With no allegiance to any owner or broker we can offer an unbiased, honest and resourceful opinion of any yacht project. Our consultancy service is a bespoke arrangement between an owner and Synergy. Every client has different reasons for buying their yacht. It is our aim to help satisfy the owner that every sensible precaution and course of action is being taken by all parties involved. As an owners representative we will advise on realistic aims and objectives, and ensure these are agreed and observed throughout design, build and operation.
Some examples of how our services can be used:
Yacht Selection - New or used, we will listen to your needs and offer a shortlist of yachts we feel would work for you. This allows you to indulge in the fun choosing of design while leaving us to arrange broker or factory visits on your behalf. If there are no designs out there you like we can make introductions to specialist catamaran architects. We are not affiliated to any broker, manufacturer or designer.
Build or Refit Management - During this complex process we will ensure your voice is not lost in between the noise of the designer, the yard and the contractors. Whether as a representative or project manager we will ensure the project is being handled with integrity and correct intention.
Crew - We have established an ongoing list of crews who already have substantial experience on catamarans. We don’t select crews from CVs that are blindly sent to us but know them from reputation aboard other owners boats. How they operate and maintain them all the way through to how well they dock the yacht, and then how they relax on them.
Delivery - We only use skippers who have catamaran sea miles. We will work with you to decide the best route and times, taking into account the physical restraints offered by both the environment and the yacht. Based upon this consultation we will offer a solution tailored to suit the needs of your yacht and the journey in mind.
Charter Preparation - A modern catamaran can command from $20k to $100k per week, however it can take 3 seasons to reach maximum booking capacity. The majority of bookings come from brokers who are traditionally cautious with new boats and crews. Based on our reputations and our ability to sniff out the perfect crew, a yacht can gain a fast track into the charter world. Add to this, we know exactly which brochures, flyers and web sites work, plus nothing sells a yacht better than video. We have a wealth of stock footage and photographs at your disposal.
